Vicki was born in Vancouver BC on May 31, 1946. For over 30 years, she has charmed the airwaves with her brilliance, wit and interest in people and this country. From 1976 to 1997, Vicki was a researcher, producer and on-air host for CBC Radio at Morningside, Variety Tonight and Gabereau. In 1997, she left CBC for CTV to host her very successful on-air talk show - Gabereau. She holds countless awards and honours including Honourary Doctorates, Actras, John Drainie and Leo Awards, Radio and TV Producer's Association Lifetime Achievement Award and is a member of the Canadian Broadcast Hall of Fame. Today she is enjoying life in Vancouver and serves on the Boards of the Face the World Foundation, and the Heart and Stroke Leadership Council.
