Senior Vice President, Head of Commercial Banking, B.C. Region 

Ms. Sue Hutchison is responsible for HSBC’s Commercial Bank in B.C. providing corporate finance, cash management, trade and treasury and lending services in Canada and in over 80 countries around the world. 

Ms. Hutchison joined HSBC in 2005 and was Head of Global Payments and Cash Management and part of the NAFTA leadership team providing regional and global solutions to large corporate, middle market and financial institutions clients. Ms. Hutchison spent 14 years with Bank of America in Toronto and Vancouver in progressively senior positions in treasury and cash management. 

Active in the community, Ms. Hutchison is on the Board of the Canadian Payments Association, is National Chair of the HSBC Women’s Network, a mentor with the Forum for Women Entrepreneurs, served as a Board member and volunteer with Disabled Skiing Association of B.C. 

Ms. Hutchison holds a Master of Business Administration from York University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph. She is also a Graduate of the Directors Education Program, from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
