The PEAK Awards is an annual event held by the AWF to honour and celebrate women who have achieved excellence in the field of finance. Three awards are presented each year at the Gala and Fundraising Dinner: Lifetime Achievement, Performance & Excellence, and Knowledge & Leadership. The 2010 Honouree and Nominees are listed below.

PEAK Scholarship Fund
The PEAK silent auction raises funds for the PEAK Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships and awards to women currently pursuing their post-secondary education in finance-related fields. The PEAK Scholarship Fund currently awards money to Douglas College, Kwantlen Polytechnic University, SFU MBA Program and UBC Faculty of Law.

PEAK Community Partner This year we are honoured to pay tribute to the BC Cancer Foundation ("BCCF") in recognition of our 2009 PEAK Lifetime Achievement Honouree Virginia Greene. Virginia is currently working day and night to beat ovarian cancer. To help her win the AWF looks forward to showcasing the BCCF on May 5th.
The BCCF was established in 1935 as an independent charitable organization that raises and stewards funds to support breakthrough research and compassionate care through the BC Cancer Agency. The BCCF funds more cancer research in BC than any other charitable organization.
