Speakers

CostelloCaroline Costello has been a member of Deloitte’s Financial Advisory group since 2012, with a focus on forensic and financial crime advisory services. Throughout her career, she has been involved in engagements throughout Africa, East Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.Caroline has worked with clients in various sectors, with a focus in the financial services and other regulated industries. She has extensive experience in Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing, including supporting multinational financial institutions with complex compliance transformation initiatives, leading large-scale remediation projects, and implementation and enhancement of controls for compliance with international regulatory standards relating to AML/ATF, ABAC, and Sanctions. She has also developed and executed financial crime risk and controls assessments to identify weaknesses and gaps in compliance frameworks.

Her experience extends to financial crime and international integrity due diligence investigations in the private and public sector, digital intelligence, and crisis management.Prior to joining Deloitte, Caroline spent more than 2 years in the Forensic group of KPMG Inc, South Africa.

JPMJennifer Podmore Russell is the Senior Vice President responsible for Operations and Strategy at rennie group. Jennifer joined the rennie group in 2017 to bolster rennie's advisory services for its institutional land owners, First Nations and legacy family portfolios. Having built a career and reputation on her ability to develop real estate strategies tailored to both the client, circumstance and desired outcome, Jennifer is a sought after advisor to blue chip Canadian institutions, recognized private families and public entities for nearly two decades. Jennifer oversees Operations for rennie to ensure the smooth delivery of services by its 150+ advisors and 90+ team members that comprise the head office support.

She is passionately involved in her community having previously served in board roles for NAIOP, ULI and the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund Capital Campaign. She is an incoming board member of the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation and recently served on the Atira Housing Society and Development Boards.
