Regional Vice-President, RBC Commercial Financial Services Tim Manning FSC

Tim Manning is Executive Officer of  RBC Royal Bank with over 40 years in the financial services industry, including 30 years of experience in the relationship management of business accounts for small businesses/entrepreneurs, commercial enterprises and  multinational corporations. Currently, as Regional Vice-President, Commercial Financial Services, B.C., Tim is responsible for supporting the Commercial Banking operations in British Columbia.  

Tim was born in Montreal, Quebec and graduated from Stanstead College and Bishop’s University.  In 1975 Tim joined RBC Royal Bank, Canada’s largest and most diversified financial institution.  During his banking career, he has held a number of executive & leadership positions covering a broad range of disciplines and customer markets, including Multinational Banking, Special Loans, Commercial Markets, Small & Medium Enterprises, Retail Banking and Internal Audit Services.

Tim is currently, Chair & Director of The Vancouver Board of Trade,  Vice Chair and Chair of the Finance Committee for the B.C. Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA); Vice Chair and Chair of the Finance Committee for B.C. Emergency Health Services, and a member of the Board of Trustees for the Canadian Athletic Foundation. For his active role in the community Tim received the Queen Elizabeth ll Diamond Jubilee Medal and the H.E.Miskiman National Leadership Award – Junior Achievement of Canada in 2013.

Over the years, Tim has been actively involved in many local community organizations and boards.  These organizations include, Junior Achievement of British Columbia United Way, 24 Hour Relay for The Kids, Boat for Hope & Variety, Advisory Committee to Variety the Children’s Charity, Justice Institute of British Columbia Foundation, Vancouver Economic Development Commission, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters,  Fraser River Discovery Centre, The Mississauga Hockey League and The Greater Toronto Hockey League.

Tim has also been active in hockey having served as the National Chair of Hockey Canada’s Initiation Program, a former Director and Chair of the Hockey Canada Foundation, a Director of the Greater Toronto Hockey League, President of the Erindale Minor Hockey Association and a member of the Mississauga Hockey Hall of Fame.

Tim is married to Shirley and they have three sons.

 

Lisa Wittet

Vice President, Integrated Markets, BC, RBC Royal Bank Lisa RBC

As Vice President, Integrated Markets, British Columbia, Lisa Wittet is responsible for leading RBC Royal Bank’s personal, small business and financial planning operations in seven regions across British Columbia, including the Okanagan, BC North, Tri-Cities-Ridge, the Fraser Valley, North Vancouver Island and Vancouver East.

Lisa has over 30 years of experience in various leadership roles including personal finance, human resources, operations, and customer relations. Prior to assuming her current role in 2014, she served as the Regional Vice President of the Vancouver Downtown and West Market for RBC Royal Bank.

Originally from Trinidad, Ms. Wittet holds a Master’s Degree in Business Management with a specialization in International Business from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor's degree from the University of Western Ontario and has earned her Associate, Institute of Canadian Bankers, Fellow, Institute of Canadian Bankers, and Personal Financial Planner designations.

Lisa strongly believes in giving back to the community through various volunteer and leadership roles. She currently is a member of the BC Children’s Hospital Bank’s Committee, which is dedicated to raising funds to support health care for children in BC and the Yukon.
