Karen VineyardKaren Vineyard

Karen Vineyard is a Senior Vice President and Regional Manager for Wells Fargo’s Portland Commercial Banking Office.  Portland is one of the 10 largest offices out of approximately 130 Commercial Banking Offices in the U.S. for Wells Fargo.

Karen joined Wells Fargo in 1988 as a Business Development Officer in Southern California.  She continued her career in Business Development after moving to the Puget Sound in the early 1990s, where she spent 17 years with Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking Group in Seattle and Bellevue WA, and most recently worked in Vancouver, B.C., helping to establish Wells Fargo’s Commercial Banking presence in western Canada.

Karen received her B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Claremont McKenna College in Southern California.

Karen is a former founding board member on the Whatcom Business Alliance and a member of the UW Bothell Business School Advisory Council.  She is currently on the executive committee of the Association of Oregon Industries.

Christina HowtonChristina Howton

Since 2009, as Director of Business Development for PwC's BC Private Company Services group in BC, Christina Howton’s focus has been growing new client business by building long term relationships and helping clients solve the problems that are important to them. She creates a distinctive experience by understanding their unique needs around growth, change, challenges and opportunities. Christina works with high-net-worth individuals, owner managed family businesses and large professionally managed businesses matching their needs with the right people and resources from PwC’s local and global team. Says Christina, “It is extremely rewarding for me to work with business leaders and create the lasting value they are looking for.”

Previously, Christina spent 11 years with CitiCapital where she started as an Account Manager and worked her way up to Western Region Manager where she developed and managed national accounts. She grew up in Kelowna and moved to Vancouver in 2002 and graduated from BCIT with a Diploma in Marketing Management and then went on to do her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree.    

Christina volunteers her time with a number of community charities and recently won 2015 CEO Award, BC Regional Team at PwC. She has had the pleasure of speaking for the Hari B. Varshney Business Career Center and the Canadian Society for Marketing Professional Services on the importance of relationship and business development.

Outside of work, Christina and her partner Paul love to travel, bike, ski, golf, hike and visit with family and friends. She also enjoys public speaking and learning more about investing and the real estate market.
